If you want to try a class that gets you to think outside the box, these are the classes for you!

 

Try new techniques, change your way of looking at fabric or just get new ideas.

 

 

Fabric Collage

Fabric Collage

In this class students create their own textile with fabric scraps and stitching which is then used for applique. Students get three designs to choose from, or why not do all three!

Art Quilt- Artists

Art Quilt- Artists

In this class/workshop we use famous artists as inspiration for both techniques and design concepts. This class can be custom altered to the time and interests of students. Click on the link for more details!

Roman Vase

Roman Vase

In this class we learn four different artquilt techniques and make a unique little wall hanging. The concept is to create something that looks ancient and expensive. We use transfer foil, melt polyester fabrics, create Tyveck beads and finally paint an already quilted quilt.

HeArt Quilt Sampler

HeArt Quilt Sampler

A fun introduction to 4 different art quilt techniques. Using the theme of hearts or leaves learn puzzle quilting, raw edge reverse applique, fabric collage and Angelina fibers to create a small project. NB! This can also be a half day workshop with just two of the techniques.

Coffee Break- coffee or tea

Coffee Break- coffee or tea

In this class we use an easy, fun and quick technique called raw edge reverse applique. Students pick coffee or tea to make a wall quilt with that theme. We quilt and applique at the same time and then sew the pieces together with a quilt as you go technique. NB! Can also be a 1/2 day workshop with a smaller project

We work with for different techniques- folding, inserting, curvy strips and altering silk fabric and then put these together into a unique art quilt.
